Q. What is the Assistive Technology Centre (ATC)?

A.       The Assistive Technology Centre (ATC) includes two open access computer rooms for the use of all students with a disability, specific learning difficulty, Mental Health Needs or long-term health condition, and is run by the Disability Team.

The main ATC room is located on the ground floor of the Library by the entrance, immediately after the main reception. There is an additional ATC computer room opposite the Library Help Desk. The Library is accessible via an entrance on the corner of Dixon Road and Lewisham Way.

The ATC is a restricted access area.  In order to be able to use it you must register with the Disability Team. Students can book an appointment to speak with a Learning Support Officer in the Student Centre, room 117 in the Richard Hoggart Building.
