Q. How do I borrow books?
Once you have found the items you wish to borrow on the shelves, take them to a self-service machine and follow the prompts using the touchscreen.
On the ground floor, there is one self-service machine by the Library Help Desk and one machine at the Library reception. On the first floor there is one machine by the main printing area, and one in each of the reading rooms on the first and second floors.
You can also take the books to the Library Help Desk during opening hours and a member of staff can process the books for you.
