Although digital copies of many Goldsmiths PhD (doctoral) theses are available through Goldsmiths Library Search it is difficult to locate creative writing doctoral theses through Library Search.
The easiest way to find digital copies of practice research doctoral is to search through Goldsmiths Research Online (GRO)
To perform a search, navigate to GRO
From the landing page, use the drop-down menu on the right hand side of the page to select "Advanced Search".
In "Advanced Search" select "Thesis" as the item type.
In the keywords field enter word "Creative Writing".
Hit the “Search” button at the bottom of the page.
It is important to be aware that GRO started collecting digital theses completed on or after 1 June 2010, so older theses may not be available digitally. To search for pre-2010 theses, it is best to use Library Search. Print copies can be used in the Library and requested from the Library Help Desk.
Some theses will be under embargo which means that the bibliographic details and abstract of the thesis is available on GRO but the full text cannot be downloaded.
