Q. Can I access Senate House Library?
As a Goldsmiths student, you have free access to Senate House Library. Senate House Library is one of the libraries for the University of London and it is located in central London, in Bloomsbury.
To register, simply follow this link. Sign in with your Goldsmiths campus username and password (e.g. cuser001) and select 'Register here' (you may need to self-enroll into this learn.gold space). Complete the registration and submit. You will be given a temporary ID number - the sign-in for Senate House resources consists of your full name and this temporary ID number.
If you experience any difficulties registering, contact shl.membership@london.ac.uk directly.
You will then be able to access most of their online resources, with the exception of any on-campus only resources. You can search their library catalogue or browse their A-Z Resource list. We have more information on Senate House access here.
If you wish to borrow their print resources, all you need to do is visit Senate House Library in-person with your temporary ID number and your Goldsmiths ID card.
