Q. How do I check what my library fine (debt) is?
Items are automatically renewed by the Library system unless the item is reserved or your account has expired. Items will become overdue if something isn't returned when recalled or if your account expires
The Library does not charge fines for overdue books but will place a replacement charge of £30 per item on your account if an item is overdue by more than 2 weeks.
You can check your account in the following ways
1. Online by logging into 'Library Account' on Library Search with your username and password (staff and students) or Goldsmiths barcode and Library PIN (external users).
3. At the self-service machines, by selecting 'borrowing and account'
