You will firstly need to complete an 'Extenuating Circumstances' form via MyGoldsmiths to receive approval for your deferral. Once this has been processed, your Library account should be automatically extended until the new completion date for your studies. This is the same if you are deferring your studies. You do not need to notify us of this change as the extension is applied to your account by Student Records on receipt of your 'Extenuating Circumstances' form.
You should not be charged for continued access to the Library because of your deferred or withdrawn status.
If there is an issue with your Library account and it has not been updated, please contact your Student Hub to ensure the details on your student record have been changed.
